One fine day in London, after 7 years, Alex got down on one knee—hiding under a restaurant table, no less—his hands shaking, his voice trembling (or at least, that's how Nicky remembers it), and popped the question. After a dramatic pause (purely for effect, of course), Nicky said YES!
